Professional approach

I’m dedicated to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and continuous learning.

I’ve been a full-time clinician since graduating in 2007. My focus lies in addressing chronic and multifaceted neuromusculoskeletal cases.

Clinical expertise

The most common complaints seen in the clinic are

  • Dizziness, vertigo, and balance problems.
  • Chronic musculoskeletal pain and headaches.
  • Breathing-related problems.
  • Neurologic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal symptom treatment for different chronic neurologic diseases.

I provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal issues and neurological conditions. I specialize in long-lasting and complex dizziness, vertigo, and pain, where symptoms often have multiple contributing factors. Our goal is not only to reduce your symptoms but also to focus on the individual aspects that increase your active role in your own recovery and long-term health.

Education and professional qualifications

  • Chiropractic degree in the U.K. (2003 to 2007).
  • Specialist studies in neurological rehabilitation (2013 to 2017), resulting DACNB (Diplomate of American Chiropractic Neurology Board) status, USA.
  • Vestibular rehabilititation specialist (2017-2018), Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies, Netherlands.
  • PhD in Clinical Medicine (2018–2023), University of Eastern Finland: Dissertation on chronic musculoskeletal pain and its effect on balance.

I am the first European chiropractor to hold a PhD degree and DACNB neurology specialist status.

Multidisciplinary collaboration

I’m a member and delegate of many national and international multidisciplinary expert panels, committees, and associations. I have an active collaborative national and global network with medical doctors, dentists, colleagues, physiotherapists, and psychologists.

Extensive publication record

So far, I have written over one-hundred health-related magazine articles, book chapters, and scientific publications. I have been featured numerous times in leading Finnish national newspapers and health magazines relating to neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.
